How to replace the clamp ball on the TEMO·450 rowlock:
Step 1
Use a T1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws on either side of the rowlock.
Step 2
Position the rowlock with the “GT” marking on the top left. Push the cylinder from right to left to remove it. If necessary, use a mallet carefully to avoid damaging the plastic.
Stap 3
Thread the cord through the holes at the base of the pin. Tie a simple figure-eight knot or loop at the lower end (bottom hole) to prevent it from sliding off the pin. Reassemble the rowlock in reverse order, ensuring the cylinder’s existing holes are properly aligned.
What to do with my old clamp ball?
The old clamp ball must be disposed of at a recycling center. The kraft paper packaging should be sorted separately and recycled with other cardboard.
